Key Stats
The Cotton Rooms form part of the UCLH Charity estate and provide a dedicated staff wellbeing and support environment, rather than a primary clinical treatment space. The facility comprises a mix of office and healthcare-adjacent areas, requiring careful coordination and sensitivity to ongoing use.
The space is actively used by both clinical and non-clinical staff throughout the day and supports a range of functions including staff rest, meetings, and charity-led initiatives for patients and families. As a live, occupied environment, all works were required to be delivered with minimal disruption and in line with strict safety standards. Certain areas are considered healthcare-adjacent, requiring alignment with relevant HTM guidance.
